VBDA MINI VLOG: JUNE RECAP! June was jam packed with so many amazing experiences and opportunities. We worked hard in our business... + Traveled to D.C. to handle shoot production/direction/ and styling for a two day engagement session + Featured in @wwd to speak on the importance of bridal styling to the overall wedding experience + Launched our first issue with @blackbride1998 as fashion editor as well as stylist for cover bride @sloanestephens + Headed to Orlando for day of styling support for @marriedbyrevroxy magical vow renewal at Disney!! But we also watered our person... + Dropped work to play mas for the first time since the start of the pandemic + Got cute and turned up with new and old friends to celebrate milestones and new beginnings + Moved to a new city to explore more of the person I’m becoming and what this life has to offer Sometimes you can get so bogged down by the stresses and pressures from all the things you have on your plate and it can feel impassible to handle it all... but in those moments try to remember to take a step back and pat yourself on the back because you are doing all the things you planned and prayed for. And just like you worked to get to that point, you’ll work to adjust to find balance and enjoy the fruits of your faith. This month was a snap shot of what life could really be like if I focus on doing what makes me happy, grinding when necessary, but also giving myself boundaries and embracing ease when it feels best. It all starts with making the decision that this is what life can and should be like. I honestly believe I deserve it all and so do you!
