One of my beloved mentors and friend @junikanai who was @miyake.archive best friend and right hand. Jun and I worked together at @harpersbazaarus with @morgan.amgardens and Anna Wintour, I was Jun and Anna’s assistant thanks to my friend Alida Morgan getting me an interview with then Fashion Director, Carrie Donovan, Alida, Jun, Anna and I were all together in a small office with landlines, big paper calendars on the desks, and a typewriter in the corner. Our window over looked the St. Regis hotel. @marilyn.kirschner was the fashion market guru who still knows more about the fashion world than anyone..No computers no cell phones, no internet, that’s right! Imagine that... @juliebritt371 is another treasured friend whose illustrious career working with @avedonfoundation Richard AVEDON and all the GREATS, brings us all together for catch up lunches at her “office” at Isle of Capri restaurant 💕⚡️
