Being called unreliable hurts; but keep this in mind next time... Life is filled with infinite trade-offs. To say “yes” to ONE thing is to say “no” to EVERYTHING else. So by virtue of life’s great many trade-offs, there will be times where you let people down. A few people will call you unreliable, undependable, fickle, flaky, and a host of similar adjectives. I’m not suggesting that they never have merit, I am simply suggesting that it’s IMPOSSIBLE for you to be there for everyone, all the time. So when someone does call you unreliable, it is not the truth. It is merely their perception of what you have been, TO THEM. The danger here, is letting their beliefs become yours. My goal is thus to remind you that you ARE reliable. That you ARE committed to things.
