A gorgeous oceanfront wedding at a private residence in Malibu... The bride and groom wanted an intimate ceremony, so we designed a ceremony in the round. Not only did the 100-foot spiraled aisle add to the ceremony’s breathtaking aesthetic, but it also ensured every guest was within 20 feet of the bride and groom. When it came time for dinner, guests enjoyed spectacular views from the contemporary pavilion beside the property’s sprawling pool, the longest privately-owned pool in Southern California. We hung a chandelier of crystals above the long floral runner to add elegance and dimension to the tablescape, and we placed candles on the shelves lining the pavilion. Once the sun set, the light of 1,000 candles reflected off the chandelier of crystals and transformed the space into the most enchanting dining atmosphere. Christina Aguilera surprised guests with a post-dinner performance and set the mood for the dance party ahead!
