Proud of my Pakistani roots, I am thankful for the title of Miss Grand Pakistan 2022 to use as a stepping stone to reach my self actualization. Representing Pakistan, I will continue to utilize my talents and resources to fuel my passion and feed my purpose. Sharing my experiences whether it is through my words or song lyrics, directly connects me to not just my close friends and family, but now the ability to identify a Grander audience. In the 19 years of my life journey so far, I have experienced invaluable lessons that have shaped my understanding of myself and how I can contribute to others around me. My parents have always encouraged me to interact with people of all cultures and backgrounds with an open mindset in relation to foreign viewpoints. From this I’ve become fascinated to understand how others’ process things. I believe the fundamentals of dynamic growth begin at stepping outside one’s comfort zone and by bringing one’s authentic self to environments that foster the celebration of dissimilarities with respect and compassion to one another. We need to not be fearful of our identity being negated, but have courage to share our beliefs as the modernization of the World we live in persists. Differences should not be a negativity. I will never be someone to force my perspective outlook on others; however, I will continue to listen and understand various opinions. I am beyond blessed for this once in a lifetime opportunity.
