Jesus does not take away your pain, he brings purpose to it 2. The word will only change you if you let it, you can’t change the word for your liking and expect good things to come, picking and choosing what kind of gospel you like only leads to a life of sorrow 3. Getting a fire from the holy spirit is good, but what’s more important is what you do after the fire is lit, are you going to spread it, and continue adding to the fire to keep it alive and put in the effort, or are you going to let the world around you influence your life and drench your fire? A fire that takes much effort to build can be put out with one bucket of water.
