I never quite pictured how my wedding would be and then once we got engaged it became too overwhelming to fully wrap my head around. So many decisions and so much planning my mind was like 🤯 just kidding on all of this. I was just gonna wait a year or so and get to it later... When we looked at everything we wanted to accomplish, my husband and I decided a month before we got married to have a private ceremony this year vs waiting til after the baby. Which left me in a scramble cause dresses usually take like 6 months to order. So here I am pregnant and getting married in less than 30 days 😅. I was gonna just skip the fittings but my sis @theashleylook wanted me to at least get an experience so we went dtla to @cocomelodyofficial to try some options that could be available in time. It was fun to get the wedding dress fitting experience and the staff was amazing but with my growing bump I felt like the dresses and fabric made me look bigger or hella matronly. I ultimately ended up getting a less traditional dress, I had this vision to wear a hat and kinda just wanted to see it through. So the end look came from @marcellanyc and the hat was from @etsy my shoes were a gift from my boo @mrs.wantedbody ❤️ I felt beautiful and effortless and didn’t break the bank 🙌🏾. I love this dress so much I will def wear it again. And @iconflorals made an arrangement that complimented my dress and hid the bump for some pictures so I got the best of both worlds. Our private elopement was the perfect way for US and now we can focus on our marriage and lil baby otw. Moral of the story, do you and enjoy it 🤍.
