For years I struggled to mix bass (and still do I’m not pretending to be an expert) because I didn’t really understand what frequencies were giving me what feelings on different types of material. This EQ tip helps me to figure out what the hinge point of the low end is. I gravitate to these numbers (esp 35 and 60 - Neve Eq settings) but you can examine any settings and compare them to see what happens.
