📌 Save this one for reference! 🍃 MY NAIL CARE ROUTINE 🍃 Consistency really matters with nail care, so find a routine that works for you and stick to it! ✅ I also use a hand cream after every hand washing. 🖐🏻 NOTE: Cuticle is dead skin at the base of the nail plate, not the skin at the base of the nail. The skin at the base of the nail is your proximal nail fold. I never cut that area, as it is living tissue. Improperly cutting the skin in that area can be harmful and lead to your skin growing back thicker as a natural defense mechanism. 🚫 NOTE II: My proximal fold areas are very trained and don’t require much in the way of pushing back, but if yours need help you can push them back every day until they become more trained.
