We are excited to welcome William Cook, an advertising and public relations professional with more than a decade of experience in building product marketing, to our growing team. “Bill” will serve as Director of Communications, assisting in the development and execution of the company's strategic communications initiatives, and delivering a tailored brand experience to an expanded group of interior designers, specifiers, and consumers throughout the United States and Canada. “I am thrilled to join the Thompsons as they build the future of their family business. Together, we will work to redefine the brand for a new decade growth, while remaining a trusted source for designers seeking the finest hand-made metal sinks, bathtubs, vanities, range hoods, and accessories for the home.” Bill spent more than a decade in the advertising and public relations agency world prior to joining Thompson, including nine years at Stoner Bunting Advertising. He was a regular at kitchen and bath trade shows, and regularly planned client events surrounding major industry gatherings. In addition to his work in the industry, Bill is a professor of advertising and public relations at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. He teaches a variety of undergraduate courses. He graduated from Temple in 2010 with degrees in Advertising, Business and German Language Studies. He is also a 2014 graduate from Penn State University, where he earned his M.A. in Communications and Media Studies. Bill lives in Lancaster, PA with his husband Tony. In their free time they enjoy cooking, traveling with friends, wine tasting, car shows, interior design, antiquing, and spending time with their families.
