I spent years running from my experience at a therapeutic boarding school, going to great lengths to pretend it never happened. Doing everything possible to feel anything except this terrible experience. I’m finally at a place in my life where I’m not only able to accept it, but I am willing to help with starting the conversation. I hope this book let’s those who are suffering know they aren’t alone. If it helps just one person I will feel like I’ve done my part. This process has been long but also healing. Here goes nothing.
