I haven't experienced the lake life in quite a few summers & as soon as I stepped on the boat I felt immediately connected to my inner child! My dad is a fisherman and our summer vacations were spent in upper peninsula Michigan! I was always the first to jump in the lake with my older brothers and swim no matter how cold the water was. I was not afraid to put my hands in a bucket full of leaches! Being on a lake just makes me feel like I can be super present & carefree. I remembered this weekend that there is still an adventurous side of myself.. One I have lost touch with as an adult and mom. I left the lake in so much gratitude and a new goal to LIVE more fully!
