This upcoming THURSDAY 10/27 we will be partnering with Community Impact at Columbia University to collect donations of food and winter clothing to provide most needed assistance to recently arrived immigrants to NYC that have been located in shelters. ACCEPTABLE ITEMS: CLEAN WINTER CLOTHES FOR MEN, WOMEN & CHILDREN: coats, hats, gloves, new socks, new underwear, sweaters, long sleeves, boots. FOOD: non-perishable items dry and canned. i.e rice, beans, pasta, oatmeal, granola bars, tuna, sardines, etc. WHEN: THURSDAY 10/27 from 10am-3pm WHERE: Community Impact at Columbia University Emergency Food Programs Ford Hall Food Pantry 616 W 114th street, between Broadway and Riverside Drive These people need jobs opportunities more than anything, we are trying to find a way to connect people!
