This historic farmhouse on the Rodale Institute grounds was built around 1810 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places under its historic name “Siegfried’s Dale Farm.” It was kept as a weekend resident of Bob and Ardath Rodale, son and daughter-in-law of our founder J.I. Rodale. It is considered one of the best preserved, continuously operated farmsteads in the state. Today this historic home is used for overnight accommodations for our partners and interns. Recently, we received a generous donation of organic beds and bedding from our friends at Naturepedic (@naturepedic) and Terra Thread Home (@terrathreadhome). We’re so thankful for their support and we look forward to housing our interns in comfort in the future!
