My whole life I’ve always told myself I wasn’t creative. Arts and crafts were my most dreaded activity at camp or school. I wanted it to be perfect, juuuuust right, which totally stifled the freedom I could have experienced in the moment by just expressing how I felt. I didn’t truly understand that I was as an artist, or was creative until years after I stepped into modeling. Once I started to be more comfortable in my skin, flowing, and moving then I really understand what it was like. This beautiful dance of expression and creativity that I saw so easily with dancers or painters I never saw in myself. But now I’ve come to realize, whether you’re telling a story with just your eyes or your whole body, modeling is allll about sharing or * creating* a story 📖 sometimes it’s about looking relaxed, at ease, and coy, or sometimes it’s about looking strong, powerful, and confident… but that’s the beauty of modeling- it can all change with just one shift in the gaze, one turn of the head, or angle of the camera. The attention to detail it takes to understanding how your body moves within the space you take up, is almost like a fine art. In fact, modeling IS an art, and I like to create it. 😋 👩🏽🎨
and if you didn’t read any of all that… keep swiping for a free foot pic if that’s what’s keeping you around 🙃🤷🏽♀️
