Pesto but make it spicy🔥This is the perfect #meatfreemonday recipe that is so simple with only 5 ingredients!
@barenutritionhealth put together this Spicy Better-for-you-pesto that is dairy-free, low FODMAP and protein-packed thanks to our Chickpea Fusilli.
Pesto Recipe:
- 1 C fresh basil (or more!)
- 1/4 C walnuts
- 1/4 C nutritional yeast (or Parmesan)
- 4 Tb olive oil
- juice of a lemon
* we also like to add crushed red pepper to make or a little spicy, and salt and pepper to taste
*add 1-2 Tb of water or until desired consistency is reached
*again, we left out garlic to make it low FODMAP but feel free to add.
