When @chrishemsworth photobombs your surf book cover shoot in Byron Bay. Legit! Thought I’d start sharing some of the stories that came out of creating “Women Making Waves.” Firstly, some behind the scenes pics from the cover shoot in Australia. I tasked @caitmiersphotography @theseakin @zara__noruzi and @elisetrigger to create the ultimate party wave shot of fun, freedom, style, strength and sisterhood. To begin with, I photoshopped a version of what I had in my head complete with arrows, notes, styling ideas and instructions. OCD much?! And then of course we had to wait for the perfect Aussie surf conditions. I was pretty much asking the near impossible. No pressure, then! And it’s a super-human skill to be a great surf photographer, treading water with heavy equipment and to always be in the right position to get “the shot”. But @caitmiersphotography kills it, every single time 💙 Sorry Chris, girls only. You didn’t make the cut! 😂 The last shot is what I really wanted for the book cover but through a series of negotiations with my amazing and very patient editorial team, we came to a happy place 😊
