Our first Mentor Monday for Black History Month is the incredible Kurt Douglas who gives us tips on how to speak your truth within your movement ✨ Kurt has worked with Limón Dance Company where he performed in several of Jose Limón’s pieces. He made history as the first African American to perform as Iago in Limón’s The Moor’s Pavane. In 2011, he toured internationally for the Tony Award-winning musical “A Chorus Line.” Kurt’s work experience and passion is reflected in his work as a professor of dance at Boston Conservatory at Berklee, where he specializes in modern dance and the Limón Technique. #clistudios #dancetraining #danceonline #mentormonday #blackhistorymonth
