The agent's adventures, update: Yesterday evening there was a knock at the agent's door, in room 606, and outside stood a very nice young man from the hotel holding all of the agent's bags that he had left in room 404, and that had then disappeared. Where they had been during the hours in between being in room 404 and reappearing outside of 606 was very unclear. The young man from the hotel did not seem to know. He left without a word. Later in the evening the agent and I went to dinner. Beers were had (by him) and jokes were made (by me) about the agent maybe forgetting which room he lived in again and trying to break into the wrong one when he came back. The agent laughed. We went back to the hotel. The agent went to bed, but was woken up by a strange scratching noise followed by mumbling curse words. The agent went up and opened the door and outside stood a man his age, with his bags, wondering why his key didn't work. The agent explained this was room 606, his room. "But 606 is my room!" said the man outside, very annoyed. They argued for a little while before the man left. A little while later the agent heard a noise again, went up, but found noone at the door. The agent at this point started feeling like he was in a very low budget version of the movie Inception. At breakfast when he told me the whole story I suggested that maybe it was the Ghost Of Christmases To Come that had visited him, but he was not in the mood for Dickens references at all. Now he checks his room number a dozen times and opens the bathroom door and all closets before daring to go to bed, and he also wants me to show all of you his room key, because he wants you to tell him that he is "NOT CRAZY" for thinking it said 404 and not 606 in the first place. He also wants everyone in Dallas to know that we're leaving tomorrow and you can have all of your rooms back then.
