*Covid Chronicles* So I caught #covid at #coachella. I knew it was a big risk, it’s the biggest risk I’ve taken since the pandemic began… it was also one of my favorite performing experiences to date. Two years into the pandemic and I’m still trying to balance being safe and experiencing life. Thankfully, somehow, nobody else in our 7 person crew seems to have come down with it, and it seems my family is also in the clear despite a few days exposure before I knew I was positive. I’m grateful we are all vaccinated and that they are safe! I took three tests last week, two were negative. I didn’t have symptoms right away, and then I got extremely sick for about 4 days, and then it began to lift. Quarantine has been interesting, the sudden slow down combined with the brain fog delirium makes me feel like I stepped into an alternate universe. I spend most of my time laying on the back deck since I can have my mask off out here. I haven’t had the energy to do much else. The body aches are severe. CoCo is my constant companion, I’m watching the mist fall, talking with the flowers and making hand dances. My body feels so different.
