Here's Jamie Lee Curtis, at the Golden Globes, saying "We're out of Covid." A few days later, Curtis tested positive for Covid using home tests and has cancelled her other awards season events. Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson also have since tested positive after attending the mostly maskless event. While I wish them all a speedy recovery, this is what happens when you take Joe Biden as a leader on public health. The fool said in September, while his admin was predicting 100 million new infections this fall/winter, that the pandemic is over. Then why are thousands still dying from it in the US every week? Actress Jessica Chastain wore a mask to match her designer duds and received praise for it. Good on her! But with Jamie Lee presenting an award, many are wondering if the show will become a super-spreader event. Here's what's really annoying. Hollywood sets were handling Covid so well that some epidemiologists joked that Hollywood studios should be running the CDC instead. Actors and crew on most sets were tested several times a week and masks were worn religiously. Presumably because movie and films don't want to suffer from expensive delays from getting cast/crew sick. But it doesn't take a scientist to know that large, unmasked events without social distancing are where Covid spreads most easily. Sadly, liberal Hollywood is an arm of the Democratic party. And so that Joe could falsely claim he'd conquered Covid before midterm elections, Democrats sleazily planned to wield a talking point that Covid is over since March, found in a leaked document from Biden's polling firm Impact Research. Their goal was to minimize the pandemic by cutting masking and social distancing requirements, so that it would APPEAR Covid is over and that Dems were responsible for the triumph. (Even though more died from the virus under Biden than Trump.) Biden minimizes Covid to make himself look like more of an effective leader. Gee, the president before Biden did the same, and got all kinds of criticism for it. Liberals' double standard strikes again! Tell me again how either party is "the party of science" now.
