Today I had the opportunity to understand more about the importance of corals in our lives. In addition to the perfect waves and the animals that depend on them, corals are fundamental even for the air we breathe. During photosynthesis, algae 'steal' carbon dioxide while depositing it on the bottom of the sea. In this process, they produce more than 50% of the oxygen we breathe. Here in Tahiti, I had the chance to be part of an incredible activation, planting new corals in one of the places I love the most. An experience and learning that I hope to share with as many people as possible. The ocean gives us so many amazing things. Trying to do the least to give back is an obligation for me.
