so I guess I used to think I had to choose or show just one side of me here- be the fashion loving, NYC version of myself or the jump in the lake, curly hair don’t care, carefree me. what I finally learned this year that may help someone else is that editing yourself doesn’t make you better, it just makes you smaller. Not to mention, it also makes it impossible for your “people” and experiences to find you. You don’t have to choose a side of you, you actually have to feed every part of you, no matter how different the parts of you are. I didn’t become a different person this year- I guess I just let every part of me exist in the same room. Your life will get so much better when you show up as the whole version of you, and don’t you dare hide one single piece. XO I love you @campsocial Ps. Does this make sense????
