💕 Finished my last day in Nashville as a locums dermatologist covering shifts for my brilliant colleague Dr. Margaret Mann at her private practice over the summer. It’s been such a healing time working in a healthy work environment with colleagues and staff that are appreciative, respectful, caring, and supportive of your dreams. All the while being able to provide the utmost level of dermatologic care for the nicest of patients. Nevertheless, my heart will always be in Memphis. The people, patients, friends and family I’ve been able to spend time fostering relationships with over the last year living back home has been a BLESSING. Note to all residents, always remember: your first job as an attending may not end up being the right fit for you, and it’s ok to walk away asap to find a better path for yourself. It seems life is unfolding in ways that will be taking me to a new city for a tremendous opportunity this fall. Any guesses where I’ll be? 😉 ⬇️ Excited to announce the big news soon.
