The BEST Hawaiian food in Orange County can be found right here, at Da Hawaiian Kitchen. Everything from the chili peppa chicken to the poke, brought me back to my vacation in Hawaii. I asked the cashier what she recommended and she said we NEED to try these 3 things:⠀ ⠀ 1. Chili Peppa Chicken - What I liked about the chicken was that it wasn't drenched in sauce. It was moist and juicy, and the skin was my absolute favorite part. It retained all the spicy, sweet, and savory flavors of the marinade and was light and crispy. We got double potato mac too, and this is one of the best potato mac's I've ever had.⠀ ⠀ 2. Combo Plate - For protein, we chose the kalua pig and kalbi. Both were extremely solid options, and they weren't too dry like other places I've tried.⠀ ⠀ 3. Poke - The absolute FRESHEST poke I've tried here on the mainland.
