Our foragers James and Kate have been bringing in the last of the 22 Islay botanicals - bog myrtle - from the moors of Islay. Bog myrtle, also known as “Sweet Gale”, contributes a bitter aromatic quality to The Botanist, adding characteristic notes of camphor, ginger and eucalyptus.
