Reproduction of supreme historical injustice! How is it possible that 2 sexual offenders and a couples of bigots took away the rights of MILLIONS of people in the USA against the opinion of a majority of the population? This is forced pregnancy in a country that just voted AGAINST parental leave, has almost no accessible healthcare, a weak public education system, where there are HUGE racial disparities in maternal and infant death rate, where social injustice are comparable to France’s ancien regime? I would have never been able have the trajectory I have had without the possibility to choose. The question is not if/when the fetus has rights, the question is whether or not women have equal rights to men. If freedom is the foundation of the constitution then how can it be that some of us are less free than other? That some will be deprived of the most basic type of freedom: the autonomy over one own's body? As a young girl I never thought I would grow up in a world that turns backwards. Children will have less rights than their parents. I wish i would see more men act and post today: if u think it will only affect women think twice. Meanwhile France's government has three member of the majority (LRM) accused of rape and the president thinks it's just ok despite losing the popular vote. Are we heading toward less democracy than the world in which we were born? I don't feel despair but a growing rage and strong desire to act and see and hear people’s rage and join forces, you ?
