I believe we can redeem waste as a resource. Waste is a design flaw of our colonial and capitalist system, a systemic problem and conflict due to our culture of consumption and excess. A flaw that is rooted in environmental racism of our extractive society. Our culture of recycling and the technology is in its infancy. This is an attempt at intercepting discarded and damaged local knitwear waste.
