Vegan Baked Mac and Cheese by @earthofmariaa! 🤤 Check out Maria's lovely recipe below: Ingredients 🧀 2 tbsp dairy-free butter 1 large onion, diced 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp paprika 1 1/2 cups macaroni 1 cup plant based milk 1 tsp miso paste 1/4 cup dairy-free cream cheese 1/2 cup gated dairy-free cheese 1/2 tsp salt 1 tbsp cornstarch 3 tbsp panko breadcrumbs Instructions 🧀 Add the vegan butter to a large pan over a medium-high heat. Next, add the onion, garlic powder, and paprika. Cook for 4-5 minutes, until softened. Meanwhile, cook the macaroni according to packaging instructions. Now to the frying pan, add plant based milk, miso paste, dairy-free cream cheese and grated cheese. Stir together well. Then, add the macaroni, salt and cornstarch and stir until the sauce thickens. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F/180 degrees C. Divide the macaroni between two ramekins and add the breadcrumbs on top. Bake for 20 minutes, then serve.
