I ran my first Half Marathon today!! I definitely did not come to this decision easily. Many know but if you don’t, the reason I am running today is because after playing softball for 4 years , this year, my senior year, I was cut. After lots of tears and prayers, I was given this wonderful opportunity. Running has always been there for me and has always been one of my favorite things to do, so this seemed like the perfect way to find the positives in my situation. With that being said, I would first like to thank God for giving me this ability and this opportunity. And thank you to everyone who supported me through the training and supported me throughout the race today. I definitely wouldn’t have made it if you all weren’t there screaming my name. I love you all so much!
