For a fairly long time, before @teijiutsumi and @kikuchikanae opened @hacohairsalon, finding something constant for consistently brilliant haircuts and hair care had always been a struggle. Sureーhaving friends cut your hair was always on the cards and something I took into consideration. And frankly, I would rather put money into friends' pockets rather than someone else's. However, since September 2020, I don't think I've gone anywhere as much as I have to Haco simply because it has been a complete revelation. There's just something about going to a salon and knowing that every single time you would leave with something brilliant; a haircut that would last for months even when my hair grew longer. Haco obviously expanded, the salon moved to a much bigger space, and the team grew from its initial three-four people to nearly 15 people in less than two years, which only emphasises its popularity and the quality of work done by the team. If anyone asks where to have their hair cut, I always end up recommending Haco, without hesitation, simply because I cannot think of any better and on-point salons in east London.
