I am so deeply saddened to hear of Douglas McGrath's passing. He was an incredible man. So handsome, witty, talented, kind...the list goes on. He wrote the book to BEAUTIFUL the Carole King Musical which I found to be just extraordinary. As my cast mate @stephmartignetti so perfectly put it he was "An actor's writer, his dialogue was so much fun to say and boy he sure knew how to write a laugh line." I got to live six years of my life in his work and I cherish each and every minute of it. He was also a friend. I am especially grateful for how much he championed my unique family often calling us fascinating and extraordinary. He was so outwardly loving and supportive. If only we were all made the same way.
