“Disparities project” A project curated by me with the intentions of bringing men,black men at that together to Capture them in an element when they’re most comfortable,and thats when they’re fly! However amidst this shoot we began to have conversations amongst ourselves and during this we began to acknowledge many issues we all face in our neighborhoods despite us all being in 7 different directions in the borough. Issues like gentrification,price inflation,uncomfortability and many many more,we used this time together to acknowledge the wrongs where we from and that’s reflected through this shoot and through a number of photos as well,through my narration on the photos and through our collectivism we came together to not only make something fly and pleasing to look at,but in a very subtle way speak on what needs to be done for our comfortability as people of color in our hoods.
