This pride is a bit heavy. I wanna let you know until Women are honored as sacred and divine with true equality... and with sovereignty over their lives and bodies.... No one else will have their rights advanced, including us, who are 2SLGBTQIA+. The Women’s rights movement is the base level of all human rights, we need to restructure this first if we ever hope for our own equality. I am ashamed and disgusted to be experiencing this country’s divide and to bare clear witness to the misogyny of a worldwide patriarchy. All propagated and indoctrinated to us with teachings via religion/s, with the purpose solely to control our true natures thru shame, repression and intolerance. It’s here to keep our minds closed and in line while also conveniently used and justified in horrific acts against Women, including Trans Women. To me this feels like dark times with the erosion of our rights coming in plain sight. The world is regressing, more minds are closing, to push back visibility is now more important then ever.
