I’m thrilled to share the first record of the XKatedral Anthology Series of Slowly Evolving Timbral Music. A project long in works by the entire XK collective. It’s now available via @_xkatedral bandcamp & @boomkatonline XKatedral Anthology I is the first in a series of archival releases dedicated to presenting music by XKatedral affiliated composers working within the realm of slowly evolving harmonic and timbral music. This double-vinyl set contains an array of pieces dating from 2010 - 2020. Four of the works included here were originally released on cassette tape early on in the label's history including pieces by Kali Malone & Caterina Barbieri, Marta Forsberg, Isak Edberg and Kristoffer Svensson. The remaining pieces by Mats Erlandsson, Victor Lisinski, Isak Edberg and Daniel M Karlsson are presented by the label for the first time.
