On Saturday, @wearelewisham hosted #LewishamPeoplesDay - a celebration of everything that makes the borough great, including how it puts culture at the heart of the community. As part of our approach to community engagement in Lewisham, our team set up shop amongst the fairground rides and invited people to get creative by designing T-shirts using bespoke Lewisham inspired collages and motifs in collaboration with Luis lopez-smith, creative director of Tottex. It was a great opportunity to chat to people about the things that make Lewisham tick and their priorities for the future. Through our Community Charter we set out how we want to work with local communities to create fun, safe and beautiful places together.
