This astonishing film is currently playing in theatres. Incredibly weird and deeply unsettling, I don't know how it manages to hold such a strong emotional and philosophical centre despite its manic meanderings. I'm not a fan of experimental structure in art for its own sake, but here the marriage of form and meaning is breathtaking. Tons of chaotic specificity in the plot building up to a universal, easily accessible theme. What a ride.
