still turning over rocks, digging through the mud, looking and listening.
the other day I got to lie down in the grass and just watch clouds roll by for a little while and I realized I couldn’t remember the last time I’ve done that. The sun was like a warm blanket and I fell asleep for a little while. It was wonderful.

dyed linen, acrylic and oil on canvas collage, artist frame - thanks to @paulspasture for these beautiful frames I can stain
[image ID] a small blue painting lying in the grass. It has a purple ish frame around it and the painting features a kind of solar abstraction (not too dissimilar from the way a child would draw the sun with large spiky arms reaching outward in a radial manner) that also resembles a flower with balls of light, orbs, and stars of various sizes dancing around it in both faint and saturated hues of sky blue, grass green, and vermillion. These dancing bits are collaged onto the surface and cast the tiniest of shadows.
