I don’t think I’ll ever forget this day- although I did forget how many stairs we climbed and if I was hurtin’ the next day! We started with a tour of the colosseum, and then decided to hit the ground running.. by finally walking Rome! I had so many things I wanted to see, and I planned a route to get from the colosseum, to the Vittoriano, to the Trevi, to the Spanish stairs, back to the hotel! It was such a lovely day. I honestly can’t believe all we did in a week, seriously- a week to get to Italy, go through Italy, and then be back home in time for NYE. It was such a wild adventure and I would seriously do it over and over if I could. Mostly everything went right, all the pieces fell into place. A couple disasters along the way.. like the trip to Pompeii I’ll share for tomorrow’s “this time, last year”.. that was a nightmare 😂 If you couldn’t tell..
