Starting to melt now, but the garden has held its snow for longer than usual. It is a week now since I woke to find the paths under a deep layer of white and much of it is still there, especially on the hedges. Still freezing too - I have just been out to smash the ice on the water butt for the birds again. They need water as well as food.
