A triumphant and surreal moment to see my family in print in the Sunday NY Times @nytimes !!! As many New Yorkers, who are subject to the whims of power imbalances (landlords, coop boards, angry neighbors, anti-children buildings), we’ve lived through a fair share of challenging rental experiences. It took a moment of father/son recognition to make our dreams come true: living in a beautiful 3-bedroom, single family home in East Elmhurst. So thankful to be here and have a small garden to grow shishito peppers, tomatoes, cucumbers, herbs, and flowers - and enjoy this neighborhood which is just like Sesame Street.
