Here’s an image, without sound. People didn’t stop wanting images, just like people haven’t stopped reading books. I spent last night scrolling through the accounts of some of my favourite photographers, and I was left in awe full of inspiration. It’s the same old tune, but it saddens me that the passing of blogs has now turned into the still image - being observed in a digital sense - also seeming to be outfaced (at least without a trending tune to go underneath it ↗️). This of course isn’t the case, just like when they predicted the death of books, pictures - the hard and inspired works of still image artists - will resurface. Maybe here, maybe somewhere else. What’s your take on this? I rejoice in knowing that we evolve and move with our take on digital media. There are ways in which this image could’ve been an unfolding of the moment captured, but this is one moment.
