Full details linked in my bio - Join the Greene Street Friends Community for this special evening with authors Dr. Sonja Cherry-Paul and Britt Hawthorne, as we talk about what it means to raise antiracist children, together in community. As parents/caregivers, teachers, and all of us who work in schools and make up our neighborhoods, we play important roles in supporting our children's growth and raising their social consciousness in the pursuit of justice. It is challenging and necessary work — and work that takes a village! This author talk will be moderated by Tricia Ebarvia, Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Greene Street Friends School. This special event will also mark the (tentative) opening of the Armat Learning Commons as we welcome our friends and community into this new space! Schedule 6 to 7 pm - Open House of Armat Learning Commons 7 to 8 pm - Author Talk 8 pm - Q&A This event is free and open to the public, but tickets are required. Signed copies of each author's book are available for pre-order purchase only, in partnership with Uncle Bobbie's Books. No book signing will occur at the event.
