Mondays on the farm mean deadhead day 🌼✨—a time to snip away the spent blooms so our plants stay healthy, keep producing, and set us up for a fresh start to the week. This Monday we wrapped up a little earlier than usual, and instead of composting everything right away, we carried armfuls of blooms over to the cow pasture. 🐮 They don’t get dahlias often, but judging by how quickly they gobbled them up and handled the new food well, it might just be their new favorite snack. It was the biggest serving they’ve ever had, and we had a lot of fun sharing with them. A little extra joy for them, and for us, too. Maybe “Blooms & Moo Mondays” will become a tradition for the team 💛
