There is so many waterfalls along all Iceland where you can stop and admire their beauty; however some of this little paradise for your eyes can be found hidden in some places where you can only access via 4WD car or with a quite long walk. But it worth all the way there. Peaceful, quite, unique and definitely with no one around at anytime, here you can enjoy the “Stigafoss” waterfall. Note: “Stigafoss” is located 40min towards north and while you are driving following the smooth road after few minutes it become pretty bumpy, so don’t get in there too fast, and also be aware you will need to cross 3 small rivers before getting there.
