Last week to visit 100% L’EXPO at @la_villette where I’m exposing my diploma project, “A Collective Us: Encoding Perceptions”, completed at @ecoleartsdecoparis . Inspired by the sci-fi novel “Native Tongue” by Suzette Haden Elgin, my project serves as a visual vocabulary with each banner and tapestry representing a personal experience from my life or from the life of a woman close to me. Experiences where language fails us and the words do not exist in French nor in English to describe the sentiments around these occurrences.
