The first two records he has played on, Glenn Branca’s Lesson No.1 and John Zorn’s Archery are classics of a then-emerging avant-garde. Coleman has recorded 20 albums under his own name and has played on more than 150. Brian Chase is drummer for rock band @yeahyeahyeahs, NYC’s experimental music community and his solo project Drums and Drones.
