Macy’s Day Parade// Each filled w our bagel of choice, we trotted across Central Park a few minutes past the anticipated meeting time of 8am (a delay we never acknowledge/ collectively anticipate). Our first few vantage points were obscured, expected, so we climbed a stone wall facing Central Park West and walked that rim like a mf balance beam. Port-o-potties to the right and free fall to the left, our indiana jonesing revealed the perfect view of Pillsbury Dough Boy’s airborne rumpus. This lasted approx 3.5 seconds before a uniformed killjoy gestured us out of the “bleacher section.” Maybe next year we’ll get tickets (probably not). Photos taken shortly before and after that
