bout time we showed our faces! 🙈 here's a bit about us for those that care to read 👇 I (paula) 🙋‍♀️ work in marketing & basically live inside instagram 📱 I don't dress like my home & usually wear black 🖤 I've just started studying interior design (#idistudent) and have always loved rearranging my space... once I even had a sleepover at IKEA 🛌 martin 🙋🏼‍♂️ is a cabinetmaker who, unlike encino man, is actually from Estonia 🇪🇪 if you don't know where that is (I didn't) it's below Finland & beside Russia 😉 he enjoys adding majo to everything & drinking pickle juice 🥒 he never ever sits still unless he's hungover, which he claims pickle juice can help with 🍸 we met in Perth in 2015 – he was a friend of a friend who accidentally slammed my fingers in a car door 😍 I was about to move to Canada for a working holiday & he decided to tag along 😄 we rented a basement apartment in downtown Toronto & got to know eachother fast 🤣 turns out we don't have the same taste in movies, but we do have similar tastes in architecture & interiors (which barely matters when you're renting a shoebox with no windows) 🤟 2 years later we moved back to Perth – he worked FIFO while we lived with my parents for a year to save for a house deposit 🏠 a couple months into home ownership, we got a puppy 🐾 got pregnant 🤰🏼 (they've literally grown up together) & got DIYing! 🔧 fast forward 2.5 years, and 7000 of you follow our little home glow-ups! 🥰 we're hoping one day we can start a business together, where he's the hands & I'm the eyes, just like now ✨️ now the cat's out the bag, we'll try show our faces a bit more 🙈 thanks for reading this far & thanks for following us – we really appreciate it! 😇
