[Important LONG post Warning], if you been supporting me and my music please take 2 minutes to read, thank you: Today I'm setting a trademark regarding my personal music path. Being a fan of every kind of techno I was constantly battling against myself wether to produce tracks with a more drummy and 90s inspired approach or go for stripped back mental beatz. As a result I was very often finding myself in a limbo where I was scared of going too funky or too old schooly as It wasn't reflecting my previous releases and my personal idea of what the sound of 'Alarico' should be. I came up with the idea of another Alias as a gateway to express myself in both worlds and feeling comfortable while doing so. From today on my most old schooly and drums driven productions will go under the alias of 'Kenji Hina' and as a way to celebrate this I have a triple vinyl release on Emerald, while under 'Alarico' I Will continue to explore the more stripped back and mental side of techno. The separation within the two will become more radical release after release. DJ wise nothing will change as I love to play both stripped back and old school depending on the vibe of the party, venue etc., this Is just a pure production related separation. So here I am presenting 'Tokyo Rythms' a triple vinyl release consisting of 3 single EPs by Kenji Hina exploring his immaginary vision of what some of Tokyo's neighbourhoods are about techno wise.
